Kelli Bridgman, APRN-BC

Kelli Bridgman, APRN-BC, is an Adult Nurse Practitioner with more than 20 years of clinical
experience spanning hospital medicine, psychiatry, addiction medicine, and behavioral health.
Throughout her career, she has remained committed to delivering evidence-based,
patient-centered care while integrating medical and psychiatric treatment to improve outcomes for
individuals with complex health needs.

Kelli began her nursing career by helping establish one of Georgia’s first medical-psychiatric units,
providing comprehensive care to patients with coexisting medical and psychiatric illnesses. After
earning her Adult Nurse Practitioner degree from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, she joined
one of the region’s largest hospital systems, where she performed medical clearances for patients
undergoing electroconvulsive therapy (ECT). This experience provided extensive expertise in
evaluating medically complex psychiatric patients and collaborating within multidisciplinary
treatment teams.

Her clinical background includes hospitalist medicine in multiple hospital systems, including the
Mayo Clinic, where she practiced both hospital medicine and psychiatry. Following her time at
Mayo Clinic, she returned to Georgia, where she transitioned to outpatient psychiatry and later
played an integral role in establishing a new inpatient behavioral health hospital.
Kelli has extensive experience treating mood disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma-related
conditions, and severe mental illness. She has specialized in the treatment of alcohol and opioid
use disorders throughout her career and is certified to prescribe medication-assisted treatment
(MAT), including buprenorphine (Suboxone). She has significant experience caring for military
veterans and individuals with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), utilizing comprehensive,
individualized treatment plans that address both psychiatric and medical comorbidities.

A defining aspect of Kelli’s practice is her integrative behavioral health approach. Rather than
viewing psychiatric symptoms in isolation, she performs comprehensive evaluations that consider
each patient’s overall medical health. She carefully reviews medical history, current diagnoses,
medications, and laboratory findings to identify underlying or contributing medical conditions that
may influence mental health symptoms. By recognizing the complex relationship between physical
and psychiatric health, she develops treatment plans that address the whole person while
coordinating care with other healthcare providers when appropriate.

In addition to traditional psychiatric care, Kelli has advanced knowledge of interventional psychiatry.
She is experienced in Spravato® (esketamine) treatment programs and received hands-on training
in transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS), including patient mapping and treatment protocols,
before relocating to Florida.

Kelli holds Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, maintains Disaster Nursing certification through
the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and is currently completing her
Post-Master’s Certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.

Known for her compassionate, straightforward approach and strong clinical judgment, Kelli is
dedicated to improving the lives of individuals living with complex psychiatric, medical, and
substance use disorders. Her practice philosophy emphasizes collaboration, evidence-based
medicine, and treating the whole person—not just the diagnosis. She believes that optimal mental
health care begins with understanding the entire clinical picture and ensuring that potentially
reversible medical contributors are identified and addressed whenever possible.
